I'm an explorer of the future, who takes a critical and creative approach to design. My curious empathetic and analytical brain naturally thinks positively and in solutions rather than problems. I'm fascinated about the relationship between humans and innovations, and how the changes affect people and vice versa.

With the skillset I have I consider myself a contemporary jack of all trades. By combining the knowledge of the different disciplines of my degrees, I take new perspectives when thinking about the future.

I currently work at The Future Laboratory, one of the world's most renowned futures consultancies, with a unique blend of trend forecasting, consumer insight, brand strategy and innovation. As a Trends Analyst I spend my time investigating near and far futures for our clients through a strategic lens. I translate the insights into bespoke Foresight Frameworks to enable client to activate against future trends and be future-fit.

I did my MA in Material Futures at Central Saint Martins where we took a hybrid approach of our practice between science, technology, philosophy and craft.

I graduated Cum Laude from my BA Industrial Design at the Eindhoven University of Technology, with a specific interest in smart textiles and wearable technology. Here I learned about working with technology, programming and the engineering perspective.

I also have a bachelor degree in Public Administration and Organization science at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam with many extra curricular courses and completed the honours programme. This course gave me insights into sociological theories and the academic way of working.
